Of Solipsism

If I were the only mind that existed,

Maybe my windows would be bigger

And maybe people in great sorrow

Wouldn’t always press the trigger.

If existence was indeed singular,

Maybe the sky would never be dull

Maybe rain would only move sideways

And storms would end with lulls.

If my consciousness alone,

Would draw up the universe,

Maybe trees and flowers would unite

In soft sounds of verse.
